AMERICAN FAMILIES WHO HAVE PENDING ADOPTIONS CASES IN GUATEMALA

By the present communication, the Consejo Nacional de Adopciones reiterates its disposition to collaborate with American families that began procedures of adoptions, prior to the entry into force of the Law of Adoptions. To be able to help, we must have, at least, the following information: name of the child or teenager; birth’s date; date of the beginning of process, name of the notary in charge of the case and the legal mandatary, and any other information that could be helpful to identify the case and its legal status.

Please, be sure that all information sent to the Consejo Nacional de Adopciones, in accordance with Article 8 of the Adoption Law, has guarantee of discretion and confidentiality.
